The Future of InsideTrack: A Revolution in Design Unveiled
The old InsideTrack website had not been updated in several years, and the organization’s goals, service offering, and focus have since changed in a very real way. Secondly, the current Inside Track team managing the website had not been included in the original site-build and did not care for the design, citing the website’s sitemap/structure and their CMS backend as pain points. The team did not feel like the website truly communicated their mission, and did not speak to the variety of user personas they were hoping to reach.
The Solution
The Poetic Team heavily involved InsideTrack’s marketing team as key stakeholders for the entire project. We made sure the client’s needs/wants were heard and addressed in all solutions presented, from the strategy phase deliverables, the design phase deliverables and the development of the website.
We leveraged our collective expertise to help guide the client towards an appropriate and achievable end product within their budget and timeline.
We designed and built a new refreshed and redesigned website that aligns with InsideTrack’s new organizational and marketing goals, clearly communicating their value proposition, mission statement, and service offerings.
Implementation
We moved thru Poetic’s established, result proven process of Strategy, Design, Development, Content Migration, QA and Release.
We delivered a solid strategy report (yes, 119 pages) that was generated based on multiple collaborative workshop sessions between the two teams sessions such as user journey mapping, website goals identification, and website features discovery. The Strategy Report was the strategic vision and roadmap for the website and included a list of recommendations, a sitemap for a user-friendly and engaging site, emphasizing intuitive navigation and UX/UI best practices.
The Design phase involved establishing the visual direction thru presenting various options of design directions. We then moved thru low fidelity mock up in order to establish structural interface of each page and finally high fidelity mock ups (more than 100 pages) to solidify the design of each page of the website.
During the Development phase we made brought the mock ups with the documented clients features and requirements to live, which was tested across multiple browsers and devices to ensure fully responsiveness and cross browser functionality.
Conclusion
This was a client that was opinionated, prepared and valued collaboration, which we had to adapt to during the course of this project.
We have delivered a better experience for targeted audiences and is alignment with InsideTrack's business objectives and service offerings, and a new modern website that leverages the powerful Content Management System - Webflow.
Broader Impact
The expansion of our nonprofit portfolio and further more a proof of concept of a larger Webflow custom built website following Poetic’s multi-phased approach.
